FULL DETAILS OF THIS STYLE
Made in full-grain leather, the complete thickness of the original hide.
It's a very sturdy construction, and a "heavy-duty" travelling bag.
This style is very low maintenance.

This leather finish shows the natural marks from bug-bites, barbed wire, and other bovine adventures!
It will mark further in use, but still look good.
Just don't leave it where it's very hot and dry, and avoid getting it very wet.
In the tanning process the hide absorbs vegetable oils naturally, to make it supple and durable.
On RARE occasions the finished bag may still have a slight surface residue, which may cause stains on absorbent materials.
This disappears after a few weeks.

The main compartment is accessed by two interlocking zip pullers.
It's fully lined, and has a long zipped pocket to one side.
The internal base is foam lined...so the integrated telescopic handle frame does not interfere with packing flat items at the bottom.

The tele-handle is zipped away totally when not needed.
It extends to a maximum 48 cms above the case, which is OK for all heights to use.
Just above the zip for the tele handle is a "grab" handle as well.

There are protective brass domed studs both on the base and one end.
It may be parked vertically as well as horizontally.

On one outside flank is a concealed zipped pocket...useful for a magazine or passport / tickets.

A detachable adjustable shoulder strap with a comfort pad is supplied, made of very sturdy canvas webbing...looks good and is strong.
The top carry handles are leather over a rope inner, and kept neat by a tab that studs them together.

All handle and strap anchor points are firmly stitched and rivetted for durability.
Fittings are top quality antique brass finish.
The lining is a lighter brown hard-wearing cotton twill.
Zip pullers are in leather, and a good practical length.
